Building Collective Power across Louisiana
to create change in the criminal justice system
ORGANIZE
At the heart of our work, we create the space to engage with community, make meaningful change in discourse and mobilize voters to the polls to transform the political, cultural and legislative landscape of Louisiana.
EDUCATE
We prioritize educating our community and membership on pertinent legislation, voting rights, candidates running for office and much more, because an informed community is a powerful community.
WIN
We win elections on the local and statewide level. Getting our advocates in to office and holding them accountable to their commitment to our movement.
Voters Organized to Educate is a non-profit focused on building collective power to create change in the criminal legal system. We are dedicated to building an educated and engaged democracy. We do this by keeping people informed regarding elections, and ongoing issues in city, state, and national policy reform. Through working with organizations and individuals that believe in the principles of social justice and equality, Voters Organized impacts elections and legislation in Louisiana and beyond. We educate and mobilize organizations and individuals that believe in the principles of grassroots movement building, social justice, and equality.
